All our Head Teachers have Montessori Training, a Bachelor Degree in Early Childhood Education and have worked in Private and Public schools.
3 to 6 Years Classroom Teachers
Ms. Lucy Morera – Teacher
Lucy Morera is originally from Costa Rica the country that is rich for ecological and green culture. Even though her degree is in Science and international trade she became a Montessori teacher 18 years ago. She has had the experience of teaching in private and public Montessori schools ages from of three to fifteen. For the past seven years she worked in Charlotte North Carolina in a public Montessori school Mecklenburg county school district. She was in charge of the Spanish program from primary to ninth grade as well. She spends her spare time hiking, cooking varies dishes, and of course spending quality time with her family.
Ms. Roma Singh – Administrator & Teacher Assistant
Roma is an administrator who is originally from India. She has been working with children since 2009. She started in a Montessori environment in 2012. She says, “I like the unique way of Montessori teaching. This unique way of Montessori teaching attracted me from the very first day itself. I love being a part of the Montessori environment.”
Ms. Mathy Rohan – Lead Teacher
Mathy Rohan is originally from the beautiful island of Sri Lanka. She holds a bachelor’s degree in early childhood education. She started her career as a Montessorian and obtained 3-6 A.M.I (Associate Montessori International) and 6-9 A.M.S Elementary certification (American Montessori Society). She has taught Elementary, preschool and kindergarten in private and public Montessori schools for the past 20 years.
Ms Ramona Limon – Teacher
Anne (Ramona) Reho graduated in Africa, married and lived on a beautiful farm. I obtained a CDA (Child Development Associate) credential from Brewster College in 1998 in the U.S.A. I completed my training as a certified Montessori Teacher (3-6) at Maitland, Orlando in 2001 and worked as Head-teacher in Montessori affiliated schools. Evenings I tutored at the Tampa Language Institute, teaching English as a second language to non-English-speaking immigrants. I also, tutored students for Hillsborough County in the “No Child Left Behind” program. In 2008 I obtained my Director’s credential, and currently teach and co-direct at the Academy of Montessori International.
Physical Education Teacher
Ms. Lori Miles – P.E. and Sports Camp
Ms. Lori Miles the owner and the director of Stretch & Grow holds a degree in finance management from Virginia Tech. She is the present tennis coach at Wharton High and a certified youth tennis instructor for the past 20 years, she has been teaching kids of all ages at the Pebble Creek Tennis Program. As a personal note, she has been in Montessori since 2008 and has a love to teach young children.
Ms. Ester Mardones – Substitute teacher
Ester Mardones is an Assistant Teacher who is originally from the beautiful country of Chile in South America. She has been working with children since 1994 when she began in Boston, Massachusetts. In 2003 she started working in a Montessori environment. She is a CDA certified teacher, presently working with children in the Practical Life Area. Practical Life is an area that helps children to concentrate; helps them with their coordination; and helps them become an independent worker in the end.
Ms. Carmella A. Dorn
We remember Ms. Carmella Dorn as a dedicated Montessori teacher, pianist and our best friend. She was a dedicated teacher who thought at our school from 2009 to 2015.
Her indomitable spirit and zest for life served as a reminder that we should live our lives with gusto and surround us with people we love.
